The ‘Help Wanted’ sign is out in Greensburg, literally
GREENSBURG, Ind. — In an effort to fill open jobs at local business, the City of Greensburg is putting out a “Help Wanted” sign, literally. The city is erecting a billboard along I-74 that will advertise open jobs and community events in Greensburg and, by extension, encourage more people to move to the city.
Greensburg officials noted the majority of the open positions in the city are in manufacturing and that many of the existing employees of those facilities are temporary fill-in workers. Located in Decatur County, Greensburg is currently home to manufacturing facilities for Honda, GECOM, Valeo Engine, Delta Faucet, a One Solution Logistics facility and more.
