Miami County investing in shell building to attract more business
MIAMI COUNTY, Ind. — Miami County is investing in a new shell building in an effort to attract more business to the area. The county is investing $2.85 million in the 58,000-square-foot building, which is being built at the Grissom Aeroplex.
Local officials noted the new building is being erected to fill a void for a turnkey facility to market to prospective businesses. The facility will offer 36-foot ceilings and the option to expand to 240,000 square feet based on the needs of the prospective occupant.
